I have been a fulltime GP in Fordingbridge for the past seventeen years but decided it was time for a change. I trained at Westminster Medical School in London and did my GP training in Guildford.
I come from a medical family: my sister is a midwife, my mother was a nurse and my father is a retired physician. I'm an advocate of patient centred care. I used to be a school doctor and take particular interest in children as well as care of the elderly. Out side the surgery I have five children ranging from 20yrs old to eleven. I play tennis in Downton on a Thursday. I love to read, mainly science economics and history books and also do some creative writing and painting, both badly!
