Dr Simon Hawliczek
Gender: Male
Primary qualifications: BM BSc(Hons) DCH PGCert MRCGP (Southampton)
I joined medicine from a career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in London and following extensive work and travel in the developing world.
I joined Whiteparish Surgery as a partner from Fordingbridge Surgery where I was a full time GP. My broad GP and Medical experience and training was focussed in the local region following completion of my medical education at Southampton Medical School.
I enjoy the variety and breadth of General Practice and within it I have particular interest in Locomotor Injury & Palliative Care. I also have the responsibility of Whiteparish Surgery’s Child Safeguarding Lead. I remain passionate and enthused by the potential invaluable provision of Primary Care both nationally and worldwide.
I have broad interests outside medicine from the active to the pure sedentary but these are largely superseded by my young family.
It's been natural throughout my life for my surname to be shortened to 'Havy' which is much less intimidating and easier to spell and pronounce!
I am delighted and privileged to be serving Whiteparish and its wider community, as a GP.
