Noticeboard

For your safety & ours, we must insist that you do not come to the surgery to make routine enquiries, please call us instead.

Anyone approaching or entering the surgery building must wear a covering over their nose & mouth; whether it be to attend an appointment, collect a prescription, or to act as a chaperone.

Please do not arrive EARLY for your appointment as we are not able to permit patients to wait inside the building. You may be asked to return to your vehicle and wait for your clinician to become available.  Please, therefore, be mindful of the weather conditions when setting out and come prepared.

If you find yourself in a queue outside the building, please remember to observe the 2 metre distancing rule.

We would like to thank you for your continued understanding and support during these challenging times.  However, we are very sad to report that our staff have recently been receiving an increasing amount of verbal hostility, both from telephone and face-to-face encounters with patients and their families.  We operate a zero tolerance policy and will not condone abuse of our staff and partners in any form.  The Whiteparish Surgery team work very hard to provide the best service possible in, what are often, very difficult circumstances and we have been disheartened by recent events.  PLEASE BE KIND.

Reception

As the first point of contact, our reception team will make every effort to ensure you are seen by the most appropriate clinician for the right amount of time and seen by clinical priority, not just ‘first come, first seen.’ As a result, the receptionists will be asking you a few more questions than they may have done in the past. Their roles require a great depth and breadth of knowledge to ensure they provide you with a full service from arranging appointments, registering new patients, disseminating test results, chasing up actions or follow-ups from hospital letters to name but a few.
