Appointments during the Covid-19 pandemic

 

We may have reached a hiatus in the Covid pandemic but the NHS is still feeling the pressure and the fallout from the last year. We continue to have high demand for our appointments and the hospital waiting lists mean we are managing complex patients with complex needs. Therefore, in accordance with guidance from NHS England and the Royal College of General Practitioners, we have decided to continue with telephone triage prior to face to face appointments to keep our waiting times for appointments as short as we can and provide continuity for you the patient in the event of further disruption from Covid. We will continue to review this and thank you for your understanding.

Nurse appointments are taking place but again these will be booked by ourselves to ensure social distancing and room cleaning can take place.
