FLU VACCINATIONS FOR CHILDREN 2019

We will invite all children aged 2 & 3 and also those aged 6 months to 2 years and 11 to 18 years who are in an 'at risk' category for their flu vaccinations as soon as we can.

Unfortunately there are restrictions on supplies to GP Surgeries, which means we are having to tightly manage the invitations and clinics according to delivery schedules.

Children aged 4 to 10 (in reception class and in school years 1 to 6) should be offered a vaccination via the school immunisation programme led by Virgincare.

We apologise for the delay.

Should you not wish your child to receive a flu vaccination this year, please let our admin team know.

ADULT FLU VACCINATIONS 2019

Flu season is upon us once again! Invitations have been sent to patients who qualify for a free vaccination this year according to NHS guidelines.

Initial invitations have been sent by letter, or email to those patients who have given us prior consent (please remember to check your junk/spam folder).

Our clinics will be held predominantly on Saturdays throughout September & October; with a limited number of alternative appointments available on weekdays for those patients who cannot attend on a Saturday .

If you have not yet booked (or declined) your free NHS flu vaccination, or if you feel you qualify for one but have not received an invite, please contact us on the main surgery number and ask to speak to the admin team, or call in to our reception desk during opening hours.

thank you

IMPROVED ACCESS TO PRIMARY CARE

This practice will be ensuring everyone has easier and more convenient access to GP services, including appointments at evenings and weekends. We will be working with a variety of health care providers in several locations, all registered with CQC to provide GP services. The GP practice where the patient is seen will take responsibility for the regulated activity delivered there, regardless of where the patient is registered.

Evening appointments Monday to Friday, are available at Salisbury Medical Practice and Saturday appointments are available at Three  Chequers Medical Practice, Three Swans site for blood tests,  HCA and Nurse appointments.

Whiteparish Surgery

Whiteparish Surgery is a purpose built practice welcoming patients since 1983. We provide a broad range of facilities and services to our patients in a friendly environment.

The practice currently has more than 6500 patients spread over a predominantly rural area of more than 150 square miles between Salisbury, Romsey and the New Forest.

We also provide care for three nursing homes within the practice area. Our on-site dispensary provides medicines for many of the patients registered with us. All clinicians at the practice are committed to providing the best quality of healthcare to each and every patient. We are a medical training practice. Our non-clinical teams are also here to help you access services and ensure your journey through the practice is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

On behalf of all of us at the practice, we hope you find this website useful and informative.

We look forward to receiving your comments on the services we provide either through the "Family and Friends" communication or by personal representation, letter or through the "NHS Choices" website.

Our boundaries near to Salisbury City overlap with other Surgeries. Therefore, applications from patients living in villages near close to the Salisbury City will need to be assessed on an individual basis.
